Wet wipes are a crucial baby product, and selecting the right one can help parents prevent painful skin rashes in their baby. Here is my review of Mother Sparsh Pure Water Wipes for babies.

Mother Sparsh Pure Water Wipes: Is it Baby Skin Friendly?

During the birth of our baby, we started with wet wipes from another leading FMCG company as they had an exclusive baby store in the hospital. But after taking recommendations from other parents who suggested trying Mother Sparsh Pure water wipes, I ordered a 40-piece pack of 3 from Amazon for INR 400/- (offer price). Bang on from day 1, we could feel the difference between Mother Sparsh Pure Water wipes and other wet wipes that are available in the market. Compared to others, which have a hint of scented smell, may be due to Aloe Vera or other organic products, Mother Sparsh was just pure water and super soft on the baby’s skin. The fabric is non-irritating and is extra thick. Most importantly, the wet fabric of other companies doesn’t feel soft to touch, more of a synthetic feeling, and contains a soapy kind of element in it, which you can see while wiping it.

The product delivers everything that the brand promises:-

  • Pure Water
  • Soft on Baby
  • No Extra Elements
  • Not scented
  • No Alcohol
  • As good cotton dipped in water
Fingers crossed, but it’s been 5 months since we started using Mother Sparsh wipes, and till now our baby has never experienced skin rashes, even in the intimate parts that are more prone to skin problems due to frequent usage of wet wipes while cleaning the potty. Real-Life Experiment: When we ran out of Mother Sparsh wipes at home, I had to buy a substitute from another leading brand since our usual product wasn’t available nearby. To our dismay, our baby developed mild rashes after just a few uses. The moment our Mother Sparsh order arrived, we immediately switched back, and within days, we noticed the rashes gradually healing.

Usages of Mother Sparsh Pure Water Wipes on Babies

  • Clean the Baby after Potty
  • Safe to use on the mouth, hands and legs for cleaning after feeding sessions
  • Quick Sponging of a baby when you are on a trip with limited facilities
  • Safe to use on newborn babies
These wipes are so gentle on skin that even I would recommend them for adults as a substitute for scented synthetic adult wipes. Now, coming to pricing and other important points. Mother Sparsh Pure Water Wipes for Babies - Review

Where to order Mother Sparsh Wipes?

You can find these products across all quick-commerce apps and major online stores. While I placed my first order through Amazon, I've since switched to buying directly from their website for my subsequent orders. 💡Tip: If you are ordering from their official website, you will get Mother Sparsh baby detergent and Bottle cleaner trial packs (175 ML) absolutely free.

What is the price of Mother Sparsh Pure Water Wipes?

My price journey:
  • Started with a 40-piece pack of 3 from Amazon: ₹400 after discounts
  • Switched to direct website orders- 72-piece pack of 8: ₹1016 (after promo codes + Dussehra + prepaid discounts)
  • Recent 72-piece pack of 4: ₹586 (website ongoing offers)
When you order directly from the website, the cost per wipe comes around INR 1.76 ~ INR 2.

Packaging

The packaging is convenient and comes with a lid that ensures the moisture of the wet wipes is intact. The packet is not heavy and is easy to carry, and can easily fit inside a small bag or under the belly of a stroller. The lid can be easily opened and closed using one hand, or to be precise, even a finger.

Downsides

So far, I haven’t faced any quality issues with the product. However, the limited availability in physical stores is a downside. Another drawback is the delivery time; even when ordering directly from the official website, it takes about 6-7 days (my April 14 order arrived on April 21). While Amazon delivers faster, the prices are higher, and not all bundle options are consistently in stock.

Overall Review: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Most suitable product for Baby’s soft and gentle skin. Recommended to be used with proper diaper-free time and usage of the right anti-rash cream that suits your baby’s skin.
